What we do
We are a Private Sector Building Control provider offering a professional and client friendly alternative to Local Authority Building Control throughout East Anglia.
All aspects of the Building Control process are covered, from plan assessment to completion certification, with no requirement for the client to have any involvement with the respective Local Authority.
We are also qualified Fire Risk Assessors and undertaken assessments for Council Offices, Waste Recycling Facilities, Transportation Depots, Tourist Attractions and Listed Buildings.

The aim of Gateway Building Control is to provide clients with the necessary guidance and assistance to navigate the Building Control process and make it as simple as possible. Whether you are an experienced Architect, Plan Drawer, Contractor or Home Owner, we can give you the gateway to an easy application process and see your project through to a satisfactory completion. We can provide all the necessary advice on how to comply with the statutory requirements of the Building Regulations along with practical common sense guidance on the best way to achieve the building you want.

Robert Donaghy is a Fellow Member of the association and carries the designation C.Build E FCABE and Registered with the Engineering Council as an Incorporated Engineer IEng.
Ricky Paterson, Dominic Stott & Mike Edwards are also designated C.Build E MCABE
